I think it might be getting close to time for me to quit geocaching. I don’t seem to understand the new geocachers that are out there just hiding caches anywhere with not a care in the world. This picture is from a recent geocache I just went to find. I checked all the logical and illogical areas. Also because the cacher who hid this one is usually 30 feet to 1/2 mile off(Yes… Don’t ask how.. but he did it once).. I checked all the surrounding areas. I was looking for a clear 35mm container and it was no where. To make matters even worst, this cache is hidden within 500 feet of another cache. The previous cacher had enough smarts to know the environment couldn’t handle a micro cache so he made his a virtual cache. There’s just more and more of these caches where something is just thrown together at the last minute, hidden just anywhere, and then disappears after two finds. It’s enough to make me want to stop doing them altogether and find another hobby to get me outdoors…
